Does TAGZ track my location 24/7?
Never. There is zero 24/7 background location tracking. Your location is only ever used when you actively drop a pin or choose to share your arrival with friends for a specific hangout. Battery drain is virtually zero.
Is TAGZ free?
TAGZ is free for you and your crew. There is no paywall for creating private hangouts and no advertising on your map.
Can strangers see where my friends and I are hanging out?
No. By default, every pin you drop is private and visible only to the specific friends you invite. Public events (like open rooftop mixers or live sessions) are distinctly marked and entirely opt-in.
When do I get access?
We are rolling out private beta cohorts in Vienna on iOS TestFlight and Google Play. Join the waitlist above; we will email you when access is ready. You may also note a preferred handle, but this does not reserve it.
